Abstract

A novel tetrakis(terpyridinyl)porphyrin derivative and its RuII complexes were efficiently synthesized using microwave enhanced synthesis and shown to possess photovoltaic properties. Transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction were used to investigate its nanowire self-assembly.
