Abstract

Flexible joint: The synthesis and characterization of a nanoscale ball-joint-type host-guest system are described. The system consists of unprecedented conglomerates of two distinct helical metallacyclophanes. Its structure features one π⋯π interaction and three NH⋯Oï£C hydrogen bonds.
