A quarter-wave phase stepping for fiber-optic ESPI by zero-crossing detection

Abstract

By locating zero-crossings in interference signal, a fast and accurate π/2 phase stepping has been achieved for fiber-optic ESPI. We obtained phase errors less than 0.6 mrad, regardless of nonlinear characteristics of the PZT phase modulator.
