Abstract

Estimation of heading in navigation system has been developed in many ways but most of the accurate systems are based on expensive sensors. The paper offers a solution to evaluate heading angle by using low-cost GPS position data. We suggest data recovering method when GPS data is out and Locally Weighted Scatterplot Smoothing technique for removing noise. The result verifies proposed methods are satisfactory.
