Abstract
The bulk-heterojunction solar cell was fabricated from a discotic liquid crystal based on tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) structure as an electron donor and PCBM as an electron acceptor. Photovoltaic characteristics of the resulting device were investigated with respect to the transition temperature of liquid crystal as well as morphology.
