Abstract

In this study, hybrid scaffold composed of duck's feet extract (DC)/poly(lactic-co-glycolide) (PLGA) were fabricated to apply in tissue engineering. Characterizations such as compressive strength, SEM analysis and MTT were performed for the analysis of basic properties. RT-PCR, ROS and H&E staining were carried out for anti-inflammatory effect. DC/PLGA scaffolds have shown excellent mechanical properties and proliferation and can reduce inflammatory response. This study suggested that DC/PLGA scaffolds may serve as a potential cell delivery vehicle and a structural basis for tissue engineering.
