Abstract

The collision dynamics of alpha-conjugate nuclei is being investigated in reactions induced by 35 MeV/nucleon 40Ca and 28Si projectiles. Data were collected with each of the beams using Ca, Si, C and Ta targets. Particular emphasis is placed on examining the dynamics of collisions leading to projectile-like fragment exit channels. This report presents a brief summary of some of the experimental directions being pursued.
