Abstract

Burkholderia cepacia JK6 is a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium isolated from the rhizosphere of Robinia pseudoacacia. The complete genome of JK6 comprises three circular chromosomes with a total length of 8,104,269 bp and a G + C content of 66.9%. ANI analysis showed that JK6 shares > 99% nucleotide identity (ANI > 0.99) with B. cepacia ATCC 25416. Genome annotation predicted 7,261 protein-coding genes, 18 rRNA genes, 77 tRNA genes, and 1 tmRNA gene. Notably, the genome harbors various biosynthetic gene clusters and secondary metabolite gene families associated with the production of siderophores and antibiotics, including pyrrolnitrin, hydrogen cyanide, ornibactin, and pyochelin. These findings underscore its potential as a valuable genetic resource for understanding plant-microbe interactions and developing eco-friendly biocontrol agents.
