Abstract

We report the complete genome sequence of Kushneria sp. strain Sum13, isolated from the rhizosphere of Suaeda maritima at the Gomsoman Saltpan, Korea. The genome comprises a single circular chromosome of 3,710,928 bp with a G + C content of 59.7% and 3,333 predicted protein-coding genes. Genome annotation identified genes associated with osmotic stress response, compatible solute biosynthesis, and ion transport, highlighting mechanism of halophilic adaptation and suggesting potential applications in salt-stressed agricultural environments.
