Abstract

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ag(CF3CO2)(C17H14NP)] has been determined from synchrotron data (λ = 0.70000Å). Centrosymmetric dinuclear Ag2O2 units, generated by inversion centers, extend into a two-dimensional coordination polymer linked by the N and P atoms of the bridged-bidentate (μ2) ligand. The resulting two-dimensional array can be described as a 63 (hcb) network.
