Abstract

A 44-year-old woman had Tc-99m MDP bone scintigraphy for breast cancer staging that showed lesions of abnormally intense accumulation of radiotracer in suprapubic and infrapubic areas along with urinary bladder activity. After voiding, the bladder and infrapubic accumulation disappeared, but the suprapubic activity persisted. A subsequent abdominopelvic computed tomograph revealed that the suprapubic radioactivity corresponded to the urinary bladder, which was displaced in the anterosuperior direction by a huge uterine myoma.
