Abstract

A new dual-polarised microstrip antenna with high isolation is presented. The high isolation is achieved by using dual capacitive feeds with open-circuited microstrip stubs placed above the radiating patch. The antenna is designed to operate at around 915MHz for UHF radio frequency identification applications, and experimental results show that it has more than 33.3dB isolation over the impedance bandwidth of 5.3.
