Abstract

Through advancements in IT, the advent of the remote medical diagnosis era has arrived. Many services, such as Tele-Health, E-Health and U-Health, have been derived from remote medical diagnosis technology. Specially, U-Health based on wireless internet aims to prevent and treat disease and is available to many patients in various forms. In modern society, there are many musculoskeletal patients because of work overload and repeated patterns in life. This paper introduces a mobile application for the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal patients. Patients who have portable electronic devices that operate using the Android platform, such as smartphones, can use the application to get a diagnosis anywhere. The patients can perform a fairly accurate diagnosis process through a simple medical examination with the mobile application. The effectiveness of the oriental medical management model applied in the mobile application is verified by doctors of oriental medicine.
