Abstract

In this paper, a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSMs) drive system is a developed using a real time machine and software. As a real time machine and software, the RT box and PLECS are used respectively. As a part of development process, rapid control prototype (RCP) is implemented by uploading the control algorithm to the RT box using the Auto Code Generation (ACG) function of PLECS. In this way, the control algorithm can be developed relatively accurately and simply for the PMSM drive system. In this paper, commercial RCP products compatible with RT box and the proposed method are implemented in simulation and experiment.
