Abstract

The composite of noble metals as electrocatalysts and aluminum-doped ZnO (AZO) as a cathode material were combined and developed into a carbon-free cathode material for Li-O2 batteries and their electrochemical performances were investigated. The Ru was the most effective catalyst with AZO and its content was optimized.
