Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the analysis on effect of horseback riding exercise instrument ndoor. Subjects performed horseback riding exercise using Srider(shinhwa electron, co. Korea). Our study had target on indoor horseback riding exercise. Because there are few researches using that exercise instrument. Subjects are 20-people with males and females. They exercised every 40-min a day. Exercise has progressed 3-days a week till 8-weeks. They consist of six parts in muscle strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, explosive power, agility and aerobic capacity. The results of basic fitness list showed that they were higher than before exercise. We thought that stimulated by 3D movement in horseback riding exercise instrument could be activated joints and muscles with unuse usually. Beside, continuous movement of horseback riding could reduce tonus of muscle and relax stiff muscles. The results of muscle strengthen showed that indexes of peak torque in lumbar joint were higher too. Because that human body keep postural stability when 3D movement of horseback riding. Also movements of horseback riding exercise stimulated sensory nerve and motor nerve, and those make muscular reaction improved. Our study found out that horseback riding exercise could improve level of basic fitness for exercise effect.
