Abstract

For maintaining the clinical knowledge and application services independently in CDS(Clinical Decision Support) system, it is common approach to define the knowledge in specific knowledge representation and to separate them from the hospital information system. In this paper, we suggested the efficient way to encode me time-related knowledge and to reduce the number of redundant knowledge groups. Also, we implemented additional components for executing this. We applied our guidelines and additional components to u-health services. From case study, it is possible to make clear the scope of the services and we can easily extend the services without changing the knowledge and can quickly update the knowledge without the understanding the application service programs.
