Abstract
A simple brush-painting technique as a promising method for the mass production of cost-efficient and large-area flexible solar cells is presented. This method has many advantages including the absence of a vacuum system to support the substrate, fast processing, and good compatibility with roll-to-roll systems. The power-conversion efficiency of brush-painted devices after thermal annealing is very comparable to or higher than that of conventional spin-coated devices. The enhancement of performance in the various devices is relatively high and indicates that brush painting might be a good solution.
