Abstract

In October 2009, 270 dietitians from 140 elementary schools and 130 intermediate and high schools in jeonbuk province (South Korea) were surveyed with a standardised questionnaire. This was intended to determine the situation as regards school food services, the attitudes of dietitians towards environmentally friendly agricultural products (EAPs), and satisfaction with the qualities of EAPs. The results show that Korean dietitians are primarily interested in increases in subsidies and in increased use of EAPs. They have full confidence in EAPs and wish to acquire more useful information about EAPs for school food services.
