Abstract
Time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) measurements of CdSe/ZnSe self-assembled quantum dots were carried out. Single dots were visualized by taking time-resolved spectra through 200-nm apertures defined through a metal film on the surface of the sample. Results of this study are compared with high-resolution cw PL taken through a nanoaperture, with excitation just below the barrier energy gap as well as near resonance.
