Gasification characteristics of CWM with petroleum coke and glycerin in a 1T/D entrained-flow gasifier

Abstract

The gasification characteristics of coal and petroleum coke water mixture and glycerin were studied in 1 T/D entrained-flow gasifier. The gasification system consisted of oxygen input system, fuel mixing tank, dual mixing burner, entrained-flow gasifier, water scrubber, and gas analyzer. At the gasification of coal and coke water mixture, the synthesis gas flow and H2/CO ratio were higher than that at the gasification of petroleum coke. The calorific value of synthesis gas from mixture showed about 1600-1800 kcal/N cu m. At the gasification of glycerin, the average gasification temperature is about 1000°C and the H2/CO ratio was much higher than that of mixture.
