Global existence and stability of a korteweg-de vries equation in noncylindrical domain

Abstract

In this paper, we consider a Korteweg-de Vries equation in noncylindrical domain. This work is devoted to prove existence and uniqueness of global solutions employing Faedo-Galerkin's approximation and transformation of the noncylindrical domain with moving boundary into cylindrical one. Moreover, we estimate the exponential decay of so-lutions in the asymptotically cylindrical domain.
