N2 - Nowadays, Fringe-field switching (FFS) LCD becomes a major mode, being utilized to all kinds of LCDs by many companies. At present, only a LC with positive dielectric anisotropy is mainly used. Possibility of adopting a negative dielectric anisotropy LC for higher performance will be discussed.
