Abstract
We studied about the image sticking in the flexible liquid crystal display stabilized with polymers. We found that the image sticking of the polymer-stabilized nematic liquid crystal was related to the surface gliding effect of the easy axis. We examined the time evolution of the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules as well as the polymer networks, and also investigated the dependence of the image sticking on the constituent monomer molecules.
