Abstract

ISO11783 represent a rapidly growing and increasingly important segment of the agricultural industry. This study aimed an implementation of the communication system according to ISO11783 standards. The goal of a communication system is to provide high scalability and high responsibility to the real-time operation system network of the agricultural vehicles. The implementation was carried out on the ARM-CortexM3 embedded microcontroller, for software and hardware of ECU communication nodes with the AUTOSAR compliant operating system. A set of simple tests for measuring the real time operating system characteristics related with communication network was conducted. Results of this study will suggest way to encourage the industrial standardization based on ISO11783 in South Korea.
