Abstract

Recently, ultrasonic reconstruction by the Mode-Converted Rayleigh Wave (MCRW) was presented, where Rayleigh waves traveling along the surface of strong scatterers are used for reconstruction of inclusions with pitch-catch method. In practice, the measured Rayleigh wave is contaminated by noise that is induced by random inhomogeneity in the medium. In this work, we first investigate the Rayleigh wave reconstruction technique for inclusion sizing. Then we propose the image reconstruction technique using Rayleigh wave and deconvolution like Born inversion.
