Abstract
The mass is an entity that thinks and acts, and at the same time it is a phenomenon with the particularity to be moving and fuid. In this sense, the "manifestation of candles" can be interpreted as a phenomenon of profound "political transfguration". To fully understand political transformations, it is necessary to refect on the processes of emergence of knowledge and emotions that can be constructed and shared by the wider popular public, whereas this knowledge may function as a useful compass to understand social logics inscribed in political life in general. Thus this study proposes to examine the meaning and the characteristics of this political transfguration through the politicization of the mass.
