Abstract

Two species of the genus Frisilia Walker have been known in Africa: Frisilia compsostoma Meyrick, 1921 from Zimbabwe, 1921 and Frisilia triturata Meyrick, 1914 from Malawi. In the present study, F. compsostoma is reported for the first time from Malawi, and F. triturate from Kenya, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Images of adults and male genitalia of the species are illustrated.
