Abstract

The direct functionalization of ordered mesoporous carbon nanopipes was achieved by using nitrogen-containing carbon precursor and SBA-15 as a removable template. The prepared carbon material has uniform pore structure as CMK-5 type and retained a relatively large amount of nitrogen species after pyrolysis and removal of the silica template. The results of cyclic voltammetric measurement showed the prepared nitrogen-functionalized carbon materials was more stable and desirable than CMK-5 for the electrochemical capacitor.
