Abstract

The feasibility of two-liquid phase (TLP) system for the remediation of soil contaminated by diesel oil was studied. Greater than 90% of diesel oil was removed from the soil using the TLP system. A TLP system can be a good alternative for the remediation of diesel oil-contaminated soil. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 19th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, and Water (10/20-23/2003, Amherst, MA).
