title = "Resonant nano-photoluminescence of single CdSe/ZnSe self-assembled quantum dots",
abstract = "Summary form only given. We have used time-integrated photoluminescence (PL) and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy to study excitons confined to CdSe/ZnSe self assembled quantum dots which are created through resonant excitation. We find that the intensity of individual sharp (≈150 μeV) peaks are dramatically enhanced when the excitation laser is an integral multiple of phonon energies above the emission energy. The samples are grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) with 3 monolayers of CdSe grown on top of a ZnSe buffer layer before being capped by a thin layer of ZnSe. We show PL spectra for sampling areas ranging from 8 μm to 170 nm. We have recently begun time-resolved PL measurements and hope to resolve the differing relaxation processes for resonant and nonresonant excitation.",
