Study on new pixel structure of fringe field switching mode for high performance

Abstract

To improve transmittance, color characteristics, and bruising mura of FFS mode with positive dielectric liquid crystal, we proposed new electrode structure, 2 domain electrode structure. In proposed electrode structure, color shift characteristic according to the viewing angle is reduced than conventional 1 domain FFS mode, and transmittance is improved than conventional 2 domain.
