Abstract

As a results of taxonomic study on Korean Bothrideridae (Coleoptera: Coccinelloidea), the genus Ascetoderes Pope is discovered based on A. takeii (Nakane, 1968) for the first time. In this study, A. takeii (Nakane) is redescribed with illustrations of diagnostic characteristics in detail, as well as, a key to three Korean bothriderid species is provided.
