Insert type cutting tool widely used in the various kind of material machining area. In this study analyze the ductile cast iron(FCD500) turning ability which used in the commercial vehicle drum brake module. Check the turning forces, surface roughness and tool wear mechanism with coated carbide and CBN tools with general lathe.",
