Abstract

ECB: .Well-known structure and process with dual cell gap .Multiple films are required =< commercialized! .Impossible to realize high image quality in T-region and high CR. VA: .Good CR at normal direction .Dual cell gap was major but many new trials are under going .Circular polarizer is required .Need to improve off-axis image quality and grey response time .Intrinsic weakness in LC orientation under external pressure o Ripple. IPS/FFS: .Best image quality in transmissive region .Many new structures are under studying .Need to develop simple structure with simple process or new process.
