Abstract

Two novel stereoisomers of furan derivatives, phellinusfurans A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the fruiting body of Phellinus linteus. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited significant anti-complement activity with IC50 values of 33.6 and 33.7 μM, respectively, in inhibiting the hemolytic activity of human serum against erythrocytes.
