Unlicensed-band Single-hop LPWA Repeater for Smart-city IoT Applications

Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference paperpeer-review

Abstract

This paper overviews overall system requirements to implement unlicensed-band IoT network infrastructure for urban environment, and focuses on how to improve network connectivity of smart-city services. To provide reliable network coverage, we propose dual-band repeater as a supplementary component for conventional LPWAN system. For system verification, we design the prototype module, including PCB-type embedded antenna for sub-GHz band operation.
